PS5 Elite Master Pak Contents: What's Included and How to Use It

Quick answer

The Elite Master Pak for PS5 is a bundle that pairs the Charge Arc for PlayStation 5 dual charging dock with the Smart Clip Plus for PlayStation 5 controller phone mount. It's a practical starter kit for anyone who wants to keep controllers charged and use a phone as a second screen without buying separate accessories. If you already own a charging dock or don't use a phone with your controller, buy the pieces individually instead.

What exactly comes in the Elite Master Pak?

The bundle includes two accessories: the Charge Arc for PlayStation 5, a dual charging dock designed to match the console's look, and the Smart Clip Plus for PlayStation 5, a mount that attaches your smartphone to a DualSense controller. The catalog describes the Charge Arc as a drop-and-charge dock that stores and powers two controllers, and the Smart Clip Plus as a way to position your phone for guides, the PlayStation App, or mobile streaming.

How do I set up the Elite Master Pak?

Start with the Charge Arc: place it near your console, connect its power source, and drop each DualSense controller onto its charging contacts. The dock is designed so you don't have to hunt for cables. For the Smart Clip Plus, clip the mount onto your DualSense controller, then secure your phone in the holder. Adjust the angle so the screen is readable while you play. No additional tools are required for either accessory.

Is the Elite Master Pak worth it for a new PS5 owner?

If you just unboxed a PS5 and want a cleaner setup without researching separate accessories, the bundle covers two common needs: charging two controllers and mounting a phone. The catalog price is USD 45.49 compared to a USD 69.99 comparison price, so the bundle can save money versus buying each item separately. That said, if you only need charging, the Charge Arc alone may be enough. If you never use a phone while playing, the Smart Clip Plus adds little value.

Can I use the Smart Clip Plus with any phone?

The catalog does not list specific phone size limits or supported controller models beyond the DualSense, so check the product page for current compatibility details before buying. The mount is designed for the DualSense controller and a smartphone; it is not a universal controller mount. If you use a third-party controller, verify fit first.

How does the Elite Master Pak compare to buying separately?

Buying the Charge Arc and Smart Clip Plus separately would cost more based on the listed catalog prices. The bundle is a convenience play: one purchase, two accessories that work together. The tradeoff is that you may not need both. If you already own a charging station, the Smart Clip Plus alone (USD 12.39 catalog price) is the cheaper path. If you only need charging, the Charge Arc alone (USD 16.74 catalog price) makes more sense.

Elite Master Pak FAQ

Does the Elite Master Pak include controllers?

No. The bundle includes the Charge Arc dual charging dock and the Smart Clip Plus phone mount. Controllers are sold separately. You need at least one DualSense controller to use the charging dock.

Can I charge two controllers at once?

Yes. The Charge Arc is a dual charging dock, so it can hold and charge two DualSense controllers simultaneously. Great for households with multiple players.

Is the Smart Clip Plus compatible with the PlayStation Portal?

The catalog does not list PlayStation Portal compatibility. It is described as a mount for the DualSense controller and a smartphone. Check the product page for the latest compatibility list before buying.

What if I only want one of the accessories?

The Charge Arc and Smart Clip Plus are also sold individually. If you only need charging or only need phone mounting, buy the single item instead of the bundle. Buying separately can save money if you don't need both.
