Thin Case goes over the Joy-Cons and Nintendo Switch console to form a protective layer and does not obstruct any buttons, ports or the screen. The included tempered glass screen protector will help guard against damage to the screen. Adding a very minimal increase in size, Thin Case can be left attached when docking the Nintendo Switch. The Joy-Cons can be removed from the console without needing to take off Thin Case.

Snaps on cleanly and stays out of the way during handheld play. The thin profile means it slides into my dock without forcing it, and the Joy-Cons still feel responsive. Just remember it's for the original Switch, not the OLED.

Was worried this would feel bulky in handheld mode but it actually stays pretty slim. Only gripe is the cutouts around the top vents are a bit tight, so docking takes some wiggling. Still, the Joy-Con sections snap on snug and haven't loosened after a few weeks of commuting with it.
